Huntingdon and St Neots SANDS has been established for over 15 years. All of our members and befrienders are bereaved parents themselves. Our aims are to support families over much of Cambridgeshire whose baby has died at or around the time of birth and to promote awareness of SANDS locally.

We have meetings in the homes of our members, they are very informal and provide an opportunity to talk to others who have suffered the loss of a baby. Over the year we hold aproximately ten meetings, there is one each month with the exception of April and August when we try to do something different.

There is a Book of Remembrance at the Chapel in Hinchingbrooke Hospital Huntingdon. If you would like your baby's name entered into the book please email us giving your baby's full name and the date you wish to remember. The pages of the book are turned daily so that on your baby's special day, his/her name will be there for all to see. If you wish to see your baby's name at any other time, the hospital chaplain will be pleased to assist you.

We have a teddy bear Memorial called George at Primrose Lane Cemetery in Huntingdon. Anyone is welcome to visit the memorial and remember their baby.
